The National Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS) reserves the right to deny certification to any individual deemed by the Board to lack sufficient qualifications.

NBPAS certification reflects a physician’s training, experience, and commitment to lifelong learning. It does not constitute a guarantee of clinical competence or any specific medical outcomes.

Authorization for Credential Verification

By submitting an application to NBPAS, I hereby consent to the disclosure, inspection, and duplication of information and documents pertaining to my credentials, qualifications, and professional performance (“credentialing information”) by and between NBPAS and other healthcare organizations with which I am or have been affiliated.

I authorize NBPAS and its representatives to consult with individuals and institutions regarding my professional history and qualifications, and I direct those consulted to provide any relevant credentialing information to NBPAS without restriction.
